Laser Hair Removal

Laser Hair Removal – Full Back Only $200!

Are you tired of painful razor burn, redness, ingrown hairs, and irritation due to regular hair removal methods?  If so, then we invite you to read about how our laser hair removal services at Dianna’s Laser can help you say goodbye to unwanted hair for good!  Laser hair removal is a medical treatment procedure that combines the light and pulsation from laser technology to remove the unwanted hair.  This procedure produces the most effective results when used on dark, coarse hair.  While it is not as effective on light-colored hair, it is not impossible to achieve the desired results.  Laser hair removal works when the light that is transmitted through the beam of the laser passes through the skin and penetrates the hair follicle.  This heat damages the hair follicle ceasing natural growth.

Laser hair removal is typically not recommended for patients with dark colored skin due to the higher risk of skin discoloration caused by the contact between the skin and the laser while the laser is in use.  In order to ensure the maximum results, during our initial consultation, we will examine your skin to determine the correct combinations of wavelengths appropriate for your skin type.  After a treatment is performed, you should expect to smell a burnt hair smell as well as some redness or swelling around the hair shafts for a few hours after the treatment.  You may experience a stinging sensation for a few days following your treatment, but most patients are able to return to normal activities immediately following their session.

As with any procedure, final results will vary from patient to patient but for most hair can be permanently removed with a series of treatments.  The typical series consists of around six sessions to ensure optimal hair reduction.  We will discuss treatment options, expectations, and estimated time frame during your initial consultation.
